The Elliott University Center (EUC)

The Elliott University Center (EUC) has been literally and symbolically identified as UNCG’s center since it opened in 1953. It is a familiar home base for students, faculty, and staff; a meeting place for activities, events, and ceremonies; and a greeting place for campus visitors. Located at a key pedestrian crossroads on campus, the EUC is convenient for most of the UNCG community at some time every day.

Elliot University Center

EUC provides office space for many student organizations including student government, student media, fraternity and sorority governance groups, and various special interest organizations. EUC houses several departments of the Division of Student Affairs including the Office of Elliott University Center, Campus Activities and Programs, Disability Services, New Student and Spartan Family Programs, the Office of Leadership and Service Learning, and Career Services. Additionally, EUC Dining Services, the UNCG SpartanCard Center, the UNCG Bookstore, and the University Box Office & Arts Information Center are located within the EUC.

The Cone Ballroom

The cone ballroom is located just down the hall from the EUC Information Desk. This is the largest meeting space within the building and is often reserved by student organizations, faculty, and staff, for large scale programs. We are incredibly excited to have the entire space for our Careers in Student Affairs Conferences. 

Named in honor of: The Cone Family (Mrs. Caesar Cone and her sons Herman, Ben, and Caesar II; and Mrs. Julius Cone)
This group of the Greensboro Cone family donated the initial funds in 1941 for construction of a student union building, which eventually became known as Elliott University Center. The entire Cone family has, throughout the years, been great benefactors of the University and the City of Greensboro.

Parking

CSA Participants can park most conveniently in the Walker Parking Deck. Decks are $2 first hour and $1 for each consecutive hour. $7 day/entry maximum.
